Child protection shortcomings back in focus of Hungarian domestic politics

The arrest of a Fidesz-appointed former director of a juvenile detention center on human trafficking and forced labour charges, and a few unsubstantiated claims on social media made their way into the Hungarian parliament recently and shed light on the serious shortcomings of the child protection system once again.
