Hungarian Parliament Committee Approves Stricter NGO Transparency Bill

A Hungarian parliamentary committee has approved a revised transparency bill that imposes additional restrictions on affected organizations. One proposed amendment would allow the government to retroactively seize donations given to listed NGOs and independent media and transfer them to a state-established foundation.
